Founded in 2019, the Institute provides a framework for the discussion and development of law and critical thinking. The African Institute was created to provide a world-leading research and training framework for African studies, bringing together African expertise in different fields of knowledge.
Our objective is to provide African scholars, professionals, and populations with a framework and a forum for critical and constructive reflection on historical and current issues affecting the African continent.
The Institute welcomes a diversity of people who devote their time to research and development of African thought, consciousness, reflection, and perspective.
The Institute has not yet embarked on its formal education plan. Its main activity at this stage is the production of collective or individual research and the dissemination of knowledge, all of which relate to the knowledge and understanding of Africa. However, its director and team members are actively involved in teaching and research supervision.
The Institute regularly organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, study days, symposia, and events on African history and current affairs in a variety of fields ranging from social sciences to information technology.
